TYLER MEYRICK

Chief Financial Officer

I earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and joined Purpose in 2017, originally to oversee the firm’s corporate strategy. In that role, I was responsible for several key initiatives, including financing and investor relations, securitization, the acquisition of mutual fund assets from LOGIQ Asset Management, and the purchase of Thinking Capital, Canada’s largest non-bank small business lender.

In 2024, I was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer, where I focus on Purpose’s capital structure and financing, financial reporting, risk management, credit and underwriting, and corporate development. This also includes the broader development and execution of firm-wide strategy and supporting the rest of the management team to achieve our long-term objectives.

Before joining Purpose, I worked in Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets.
